We are so happy that we hired a doula and feel very fortunate to have been matched with Sarah. She was an amazing resource before, during, and after the birth of our first child. My husband and I, being first time parents and away from family, tried our best to prepare for labor, but there were just so many unanswered questions and twists and turns during labor. We felt so much better having someone with experience there who was just for us (vs hospital staff who change shifts and work with other patients). She helped guide me to our ultimate choice of having an unexpected C-section and made my husband and me feel more comfortable during the procedure.
