My labor lasted exactly 3 days. I would never have been able to achieve it without the help and knowledge of Dilpreet, Karen, her backup doula, and Cherish, the massagist.
I wanted a vaginal birth with the least possible interventions but with the option to have an epidural if necessary.
My contractions did not stop for those 3 days, and the entire time I was in the hospital, Dilpreet supported my contractions with massages, reminded me how to breathe so as not to tense my body, encouraged me, and gave me words of affirmation.
Thanks to Dilpreet's work, I was able to have the birth I wanted despite the difficulties.
Also, thanks to her knowledge of breastfeeding, she helped me transition from formula feeding to 100% breastfeeding and understand how to achieve a good latch with my baby in different positions.
