I cannot express how much Vanessa helped me as I adjusted to becoming a first time mom.
In January 2024 I moved to College Station, Texas with my 2 month old and husband after living in NY my entire life. Thankfully, I had seen Vanessa's Instagram and website and reached out to her to get some support in place while I made this huge adjustment. Vanessa quickly became a confidant, friend, and support while I struggled with postpartum healing and those wacky hormonal shifts that make you feel so out of sorts, all while trying to learn how to care for a newborn. It is a decision I will never regret, nor forget, as she doesn't just care for the baby, she cares and supports mamas, too.
To be honest, I struggled with a baby who was difficult to get to sleep and would constantly bring up milk. Vanessa, with all her experience, quickly helped us get my daughter on a nap and sleep schedule that she thrived on, and figured out that she was having reflux issues, showing us techniques to keep her comfortable and fed. These are things that made a huge difference for me even on the days when Vanessa was not physically with us. Additionally, the nights when Vanessa would help were such a relief for some much needed uninterrupted stretches of sleep. On the days she would provide support, I would take the time to sleep in, shower, wash my hair, and just have a moment for myself. She insists on it, and that self care makes a huge difference.
If you are wondering whether Vanessa's services and support would make a difference in your transition to motherhood, 100% she will. I am currently expecting baby number 2 and if Vanessa was an option here, I would undoubtedly be seeking her support again. She is there for you when you feel alone, frustrated, emotional, whatever the feeling, her calming presence, knowledge, and experience is an asset to have in post-partum recovery.
