Testimonial for Jet City Doulas
I had the most wonderful experience with Jet City Doulas (Jen, Katie, and Mariah) in late 2022 / early 2023 (my daughter was born Feb 2023). Highly recommend them if you're considering!
This was my second baby, and I did have a different, great doula for my first baby in 2020. This time, I loveddd that Jet City works as a team of 3!
First, that really calmed my nerves that I would have one of them at our birth (compared to one doula who may be busy with another birth, or sick, etc.).
But even more so, my husband and I so appreciated having the combo of their styles, experiences, and strengths. Jen was invaluable for all of her lactation guidance before and after baby arrives—really drastically improved my breastfeeding journey the second time around. Mariah and Katie both were wonderful too—not only about this birth, but also offering tips about my older kiddo who had some sensory needs. They really care about your whole family.
I also loved that Mariah offers night doula services after baby arrives (extra cost), even though we didn't end up using that, it was a great comfort to know that was available!
I gave birth at Northwest Hospital, and Mariah was actually already there with another client when I arrived. She popped in to check on me right away. And then Jen arrived to be my dedicated doula during my birth. I felt so taken care of.
After I got home from the hospital, Jen came over to help me with breastfeeding, setting up my pump with the right sizing/etc., giving me other tools I didn't have but were helpful, etc. So helpful!
I could go on and on. So helpful, thank you Jen, Mariah, and Katie!! <3
