Giovanna was our Doula for the birth of our son earlier this month. We LOVE her! She was the perfect doula for us. Giovanna is highly knowledgable on all things birth and postpartum as well. She was responsive and reachable especially in the days leading up to our birth when I thought every day was going to be it. She helped me with resources on getting baby into optimal position while I was waiting around at home for those couple weeks. She met us at the birth center right when we got there and even brought me coconut water and grapes like a queen. She helped me get through contractions with her calming aura and gentle touch, reminding me to fully relax in between. My labor/birth was so quick but it's always a bit intense, and just the subtle ways she was present truly made the difference in my fear/comfort levels. She and my partner were a great team together. Even when I was in the throws of pushing she found a way to find my eyes and demonstrated reminding me how to breath. Giovanna just has a very good mix of professionalism and down-to-earth, friendly, nurturing vibes. I would and will be recommending her to others in the future and would turn to her myself again if I have more babies.
