It is hard to truly put into the words the impact that Lauralee had for my wife's birth of our daughter. Being honest, I didn't know the full value of having a doula before but now I can't imagine going through that process without Lauralee! She brings the calming voice to the room. She kept me as calm as she did my wife. Translated everything that the doctors were explaining to us. Most importantly, she took the time to really understand my wife's birth plan (unmediated VBAC) and saw it through that the plan stay in-tact!
