Laurie was our doula for our second child, so we sort of knew what to expect but really valued having a doula at our first birth, so we enlisted Laurie to support our second birth! Laurie offers two sessions prior to delivery and my husband and I found these helpful to get to know her and align on our birth preferences. Laurie was especially helpful when my baby was breech at 36 weeks and I started researching options on how to flip her to get the natural birth I wanted. Laurie is a great listener, support person, and cheerleader. I was especially impressed with her availability to come to the hospital when we went both during pregnancy and for the ECV. My birth went great and attribute a lot of that to Laurie's preparation before and presence during the birth. Oh and the postnatal massage was absolutely wonderful!
