As a first time mom, I was very anxious about birth. I met and worked with Brittany and cannot say enough great things about my birth experience and her hand in it. My husband and I met with brittany two times prior to my due date to get to know eachother, discuss birth plans, fears, etc. She was always easy to talk to and very easy to reach when we had questions for her. Fast forward to labor, Brittany arrived at the hospital shortly after I was admitted and helped through labor, suggesting specifi movement to help with comfort, talked through what to expect next, and help calm my nerves when it was time to deliver. Overall, I had a great birth experience and having Brittany in the room during labor and delivery led to the great experuience that I had.
Brittany always went the extra step to ensure that she could help. Months after my birth and working with her, I reached out with some questions related to a breastfeeding and she was so helpful, reaching out to her resources and doula database for even more insight into the unique situation I was reaching out to her about.
If you're thinking about having a doula, Brittany is the BEST choice and my family and I can't thank her enough for being there to help us have such a great experience welcoming our first baby into the world!
