We had Polina as our doula for my first ever birth experience. I studied the topic of birth carefully and came to a conclusion that I want everything to go as naturally and with as few interventions as possible. I was also well aware that all my decisions had to be backed by a sufficient scientific evidence. Polina helped me meet both of those goals. She was always on my side and always did whatever I would have wanted to have the best birth experience I could possibly wish for.
Polina is also a very nice, compassionate and easy-going person, so she had no problem forming a connection with us and my midwife, so they coordinated so well together when the time came.
Additionally, Polina speaks Russian and Ukrainian. It was very important to have someone who spoke my language in such a sensitive situation as childbirth, so I really appreciated that.
We are always one text away, both during my pregnancy and now - postpartum.
