Abbie was an amazing doula! I was so happy my husband and I chose her for the birth of our first child. She was caring, informative, fun, and we felt just a great overall fit for our personalities. Her prenatal visits were super informative and it was very easy to coordinate meetings with her. It's also helpful that she is a lactation consultant, too. The postpartum visits were very valuable! And then of course the birth! I'm aware it's sort of her job, but when I called her at 2:30am she was totally understanding and gave excellent advice. Having her at the hospital gave me the confidence I needed to have a positive birth experience. In addition to myself, she was super supportive of my husband to allow him to help me in the process.
