I highly recommend hiring Steph as your doula. I’m a first time mom who hired Steph for my pregnancy and unmedicated birth (June 2024). My husband and I wanted to have someone on our team in the hospital with our best interest in mind, who could dedicate their full attention to us (since we knew nurses help multiple patients) to help us through the labor and delivery process. Steph is down-to-earth, confident, and shares a wealth of knowledge and resources without being overwhelming. I liked that Steph took the time to get to know us so she could understand how to best support us (and help my husband and I learn how to best support each other) throughout the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. During the delivery, Steph was supportive, helpful, and reassuring, but also knew when to be a “fly on the wall”. I didn't realize how much of an impact it would make to have her in the room with us - I would’ve been much more anxious if we didn’t have Steph on our team to reassure us every step of the way.
