Hiring Danette was the best decision I made during pregnancy! Both my husband and I benefitted massively from having someone as knowledgeable as Danette on our side. She provided invaluable support throughout my pregnancy - I only wish I had hired her earlier on in my pregnancy. This was my first baby and Danette put my mind at ease throughout. So many times I found myself wondering "what would I do without her right now?!"
During labor, Danette felt like a breath of fresh air. Her guidance, calm demeanor, and all the tips and tricks helped create a beautiful space for me to labor in and I always knew we were in great hands because she was by our side the entire time. There was a level of peace I had in my birth experience knowing I had an expert there to help us have the birth we wanted.
Her care and guidance after giving birth was invaluable. Having someone to reach out to with random questions during those newborn hours, weeks, days is something you can't put a price on. Sometimes she felt more like a therapist than a doula and I will always be eternally grateful for her, as well as the community she has introduced me to.
