Choosing Brittney to be our Doula was the best choice we made for our second home birth. Her view on birthing was one of the first things that we loved about her, the second being her personality which was exactly what we were looking for in our Doula. Brittney always kept the lines of communication open and a was prompt with all of her replies to any message I sent her way. On the day of our birth, it was this open and prompt communication that helped me get in the physical and mental place I needed to be for our very quick birth, as well as allow Brittney to get to us in a timely fashion. During labour, Brittney did everything from helping me focus, breathe, move as well as helping our three year old, who was overwhelmed by the situation at first, become comfortable and be there for the birth of her sister. Our birth was exactly what we had hoped for and having Brittney as our Doula was a big part of us being able to have that.
