We had the most wonderful experience with Allie! She has such a grounding presence as well as a depth of knowledge that really helped us feel confident and well cared for throughout the birth process.
Allie's process includes prenatal education as well as additional calls and texts whenever we needed them, which we found incredibly helpful to guide us through many issues such as ironing out my birth preferences with my OB, addressing feeding / latch issues post partum, and generally working through our feelings and anxieties around the birth process. Allie is very familiar with Methodist hospital where we gave birth, which helped us have a smoother experience there. She's also well versed in newborn feeding - when we went to see an IBCLC they were very impressed that Allie had already taught us how to do paced bottle feeding. She is also very warm and considerate - she not only helped me, but also looked after my partner to make sure he was fed, rested, and actively included in the process, and she checked in on us several times after we gave birth to see how things were going.
I really can't recommend Allie highly enough. I've already been telling anyone I know who is thinking about having children that they should work with her, and I would very much look forward to working with her again during any future pregnancies.
