Brittney and I connected immediately via zoom, it was a no brainer that she could be my doula and would do a great job at it. I felt comfortable from the start; I even enjoyed the fact that I did not feel pressured to pick her as my doula. Brittney didn't make me feel rushed in my decision and even helped me through contacting insurance and finding out if her services could be covered via insurance. I had not yet secured Brittney as my doula when I had went into labor (since insurance was supposed to get back to me). As I was sitting on my exercise ball laboring I sent her an email telling her I had went into labor and wanted to secure her for THAT DAY; to my luck she was available, able and willing to be by mine and my partners side. She was already a huge help before I even secured her so I felt safe. She was responsive even though it was very last minute, checked in with us and remained calm even when I wasn't. I did a natural birth at a birth center and many times I wanted to stray away from my birth plan but she kept me on track. My baby boy was born and we were so happy, she gave us both support and space. A part of my package was also a postpartum visit to my home, Brittney reached out to me to schedule that without me having to follow up. When she came by she gave us a very cute gift and took my baby's embilical cord and made us the most beautiful keepsake. I also opt'd into getting my placenta encapusalated and she explained exactly when and how to take my pills. To say I was overjoys with her service is an understatement, I would definitely recommend Brittney to other expecting moms/families.
