She not only helped me manage pregnancy symptoms with minimal medical intervention or use of medication but also made sure I felt empowered during labor and birth. Every meeting we had with Erin was a class packed with information, tools, and exercises that proved helpful during labor. She provided in-person support as needed during what ended up being two days of prodromal labor. She accompanied us to the hospital, advocated for my wishes, and helped me make informed decisions. She talked me through labor and delivery in collaboration with the midwife at the hospital and worked so well with the whole hospital team while prioritizing my well-being, comfort, and agency.
