We had such a fantastic experience with Shamika as our night doula with our first child. She was absolutely invaluable in helping me get some rest in the early days, not only by taking care of our daughter, but also by helping me figure out a pumping and nursing schedule that gave me some time to sleep. Even before our daughter arrived, at our first visit to get to know Shamika, she asked so many thoughtful questions and already provided great advice and insights for us to consider, such as supplies to have on hand. I also really appreciated her organized style of scheduling appointments; it really helped us keep things straight in such a crazy time.
