Melissa is quite a magical human. She was supportive of all our plans, kind and gentle while exploring our options and when things went completely bonkers, held our hands through it all. I'm in the maternal health field but nothing could have prepared our family for our outcomes. They were traumatic but during the blinding moments of struggle she was a reasonable and supportive voice that helped balance the energy. Her follow up in the aftermath was helpful to put the pieces together and we were able to understand some of what happened with better clarity. When someone faces a challenge calmly, you're able to trust their ability. When someone faces someone else's intense obstacles and is able to provide guidance with unwavering compassion, that envokes a unique connection that we will never forget or be grateful for.
