I knew Rachel was our doula the moment I spoke with her. Normally I wait 24 hours on any big decision, but this was one I did not. I'm pleased to say I was not let down in any way. Rachel exceeded all expectations. She is kind and always available to help out in any way. She was knowledgeable and very resourceful (a mother of seven herself). She made my husband and I feel very at ease and confident that we would be in good hands. When it came time for labor and birth, she was responsive and timely. She was very in tune with our needs and wants and honored them. She went the extra mile to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. Rachel made my partner feel confident in supporting me through labor. So much that at times I thought it was her professional touch but when I looked, it was my husband. She has calm presence that reassures the laboring woman that she can birth and will do so beautifully. Given permission, she took photos on my phone of our labor and delivery, and I'm so thankful for that. The day after baby was born, she checked in with us and two weeks PP she came to our home for a visit with gifts in hand. Our visit was long and heart filled. Rachel is truly an amazing doula and person- she checks all the boxes. If we decide to add another one to our family, without hesitation Rachel would be the first one to contact. She was such a special addition to our birth team. We love and are so thankful for Rachel!
