I was absolutely terrified of the process of giving birth and knew that we would need some additional support. Enter Britney! She spent time getting to know us pre-delivery, worked with us on comfort measures, and made sure we felt ready for when labor came. Britney put my mind more at ease in regards to labor and really guided us every step of the way. I had a more complicated labor process and we were so grateful to have Britney's calming presence and expertise when we were too overwhelmed to ask questions or really understand what was going on. She was take charge when we needed her to be, worked collaboratively with the providers at UW Northwest and also advocated for what was best for me. We are so appreciative of all of the energy, time and care Britney put into making sure we had a positive and healthy start as a family. Her dedication to her work is so admirable and we are lucky to have been on the receiving end of that. I would recommend Britney to anyone who is giving birth, she is a true expert in her field and made our birth experience feel positive despite all of bumps along the way!
