Before baby Katie was my first contact for any questions, concerns, trouble shooting. My 3rd baby and I went to 41 wks and 5 days...oh and my dad was in the process of dying. Katie became a confidant walking with me through uncharted territory.
In the most beautiful fashion...sweet babe was born a half hour after arriving to birth center. Yes, me and baby did it AND I would not have felt so safe without Katie. She read my body, my heart, my soul. She said " get in the tub" and I said, " I am not ready" as I lowered onto my knees sinking into my birth space I exclaimed, " I feel him!" Sure enough full crown and wonderful Katie documented all on video and sweet snaps as desired. I mean this nurturing soul heated my meal and FED me. She took care of me as a new being as I nourished baby in novel way.
I needed a lil extra love and support afterward Katie stayed to help me navigate again and again.
We have shared intimate parts of self, many don't see in a lifetime, and I will remember Katie forever.
