My husband and I worked with Doula Felecia Johnson as we prepared to welcome our first child. I would highly recommend working with Felecoa, she was extremely knowledgeable and made herself available on demand to answer questions, concerns, give pep talks and most importantly she supported us in person leading up to the birth, during delivery, and afterwards as well. Felecia's personality is amazing and my husband and I felt very safe with her recommendations. During labor, Felecia helped me focus, provided counter pressure on my lower back which helped tremendously, and was there for emotional support and advocacy. She would remind me daily on techniques to help the baby come naturally leading up to the birth and I truly believe that's why I was able to deliver without inducing and without an epidural. Felecia provided guidance on breastfeeding and even stopped by the house afterwards to help with our child's first bath. We still keep in touch with Felecia til this day and consider her an integral member of our family as we raise our son.
