Chana is such a warm, calm and stable presense. I was scheduled for a pitocin induction due to being over 40 weeks gestation, and while it was not my desired way to go into labor, Chana's support helped to make it an incredibly empowering experience. Although I was not against using pain medication, I did not end up getting an epidural and was held (quite literally) through my birth by Chana's strong and capable embrace! I felt able to be completely vulnerable with her, and she helped me stay focused enough to make it through! After my birth, I was shaken up and a bit pale( it happened faster than I thought it would), and Chana stayed with me and my husband until she knew that I was totally okay. Thank you, Chana, for being my support and never making me feel rushed or like an inconvenience, even in a hospital setting where we often do feel that way!
