Shannon was amazing from the beginning. We were struggling to find a doula that we connected with until we met Shannon. She was fun and bubbly, but was straightforward in what to expect and how to navigate the many things that arose during pregnancy and preparing for birth. We even considered changing OB practices, but ultimately felt at peace with staying where we were. Shannon helped to provide insight and questions to ask the provider to ensure we were making an informed decision. We were aiming for an unmedicated birth, but as the pregnancy progressed our baby remained breech. Shannon guided us in our communication with the hospital to make our C-Section as natural as possible. Shannon was with us the entire day of the C-section (except for the OR) and was super helpful with explaining what we were seeing and experiencing throughout. We loved working with Shannon and hope to use her again for future pregnancies.
