The moment I found out I was pregnant with my second child, I knew I wanted a doula this time. Hallie was actually the 2nd doula I hired in my pregnancy because I wasn’t feeling the support I was looking for with my original doula. One of the most important things when choosing a doula is finding someone who you feel connected to and fully supports your needs. I was already 3/4 done with my pregnancy when I reached out to Hallie, but she stepped in with love and support in all the ways I needed. I am so thankful for her and her gift of birth-working. If it wasn’t for her support during my labor by making sure that I was moving body between contractions, walking the halls with me, and just being there with me at an emotional level, I don’t think I would have accomplished a natural, un-medicated birth. I will forever be grateful that she helped me bring my beautiful baby into this world and would absolutely recommend her to any of my sisters entering their birth portal. ????
