When my husband and I decided to work with a doula for our pregnancy and birth journey, we had no idea just how invaluable Lisa Lopez would become to us. Throughout my pregnancy, Lisa was steady, calming, and reassuring. She was always available to answer our questions, no matter how small they seemed. She also offered personalized home visits. With her guidance, she helped us craft a birth plan that reflected our desires and values.
Lisa's extensive network in the community was also a huge bonus and help to us. Her recommendations for pediatricians, lactation consultants, prenatal masseuses, and prenatal chiropractors, just to name a few, saved us so much time and effort in finding trusted providers.
Her support on the big day (labor) was equally important to me. I had a scare during delivery. I can't express how grateful I was to have her there. I was anxious and overwhelmed. I was tired and scared. Lisa's presence was incredibly grounding. Her ability to remain calm and composed in the face of unexpected challenges was remarkable. She was not only a support for me but also for my husband.
Lisa's postpartum support was equally impressive. She checked in regularly, offering valuable advice on breastfeeding and newborn care. She went above and beyond to help me find the right breast pump, ensuring our baby could receive breast milk when breastfeeding posed challenges.
Working with Lisa was a great decision. Her support significantly impacted our experience. I would hire her again. I can't recommend her highly enough to other expectant parents.
