Char went above and beyond all expectations. I first contacted her when I was 20 weeks pregnant and unexpectedly moving to the area in my third trimester. With the sudden transition, I knew leading up to birth would be hectic and I needed a knowledgeable, steady support person to guide me during labor.
Char provided a knowledge base that few doulas have. Her methods are science backed and extremely helpful.
When I unexpectedly had to be induced, she kept continuous contact with my husband on where I was in the process until I was ready for her to arrive. She is very committed to her clients. Once she arrived, she was there to stay and did not leave until birth (even though that meant sleeping on an uncomfortable hospital chair). With her support, I gave birth to a healthy baby. Without her presence and reassurance, I feel certain our journey would have gone differently.
