Shannon was so wonderful for our family! We hired her to help with day shifts during the postpartum position with our second child, and I am so thankful we did. Shannon is very intentional in how she approaches her role as a doula - she takes her job and baby care seriously, she often came prepared with activities for my toddler, and would follow-up after her shift with answers to any questions she did not know off-hand, recommendations for providers, or even recipes to make my life easier! She is eager to grow her expertise as a doula. Shannon is a hard worker, and always optimized her time with us, checking in to make sure she was doing what would be most helpful for me. Though she is efficient and task-oriented, she was also very supportive emotionally to me during the tender postpartum period.
