We hired Kali with Vine & Co. Doulas when we were 32 weeks along with our first baby - and we are so glad we did!
Within a week we filled out an intake form and had our first prenatal meeting scheduled. The two prenatal sessions she did with us were super helpful in helping to clarify our birth preferences, get us on the same page, and give us tools to move labor along when it started. This helped us feel so prepared for our first labor and delivery!
When labor began, Kali was guiding us through strategies to keep labor moving, and as things intensified she was the presence we needed in the hospital - especially the when things didn't go as planned!
Kali has an amazing gift of not being awkward (which is really needed as birth is so vulnerable!), being incredibly peaceful, and steadily confident. She was the one in the room we looked to for assurance and guidance and her experience and knowledge blessed us (and then baby!).
