I am a first time mom, and I have loved every experience I've had with Marcia. There are a lot more doulas in my area then I knew before becoming pregnant, which makes me even more grateful I was able to hire Marcia. It only took a couple of minutes on the phone to know she was so full of wisdom and experience--and most of our phone call was just getting to know each other! I didn't really know what to ask her about birth, pregnancy, or otherwise, so she just started asking herself questions she knew I needed the answers to. This was such a good reason for me to hire Marcia. It wasn't until after hiring her that i realized I would need her even more than that. I am able to look back now and see every moment that Marcia chose to protect me in this very life changing and process. Whether it was with words or actions, she knew how to keep the time sacred. Motherly, wise, and encouraging are all words that come to mind describing Marcia, and I hope to have many more experiences with her.
