"As first time parents, there were many unknowns around pregnancy and birth -- and Google can be such a confusing/conflicting place for simple questions. We chose Jill as our doula because we could tell in our first intro meeting she had a calming and knowledgable presence (we weren't wrong!). Throughout our journey, she happily answered questions and provided resources/info I wouldn't have necessarily thought to ask for, such as having my husband and I take a personality quiz so we could best understand how to take care of each other in the stressful times ahead with a newborn. She stayed with us my entirely labor/delivery, which was nearly 24 hours between laboring at home and in the hospital. As happens for many, my birth deviated from the birth "plan" we'd developed, and Jill remained supportive throughout as my wishes changed in real time -- she was committed to making sure the decisions made were right for me. Truly, Jill was born to be a doula, and I will 100% work with her again for any future births."
