My experience with my doula Lydia was very helpful the whole time. She stuck by my side when I wasn't very responsive from being so sick in my beginning trimester. She is the perfect doula and was exactly what I wanted for my experience. I wanted someone who was black and could understand me and she did all that. she made sure I stuck to my birthing plan! If it wasn't for her I probably would have ended up getting a c-section and getting transferred to a hospital! She said encouraging words the whole time I was in active labor and wanted to give up! She made sure to be firm and also sweet at the same time getting her point across to me letting me know I had and would get my baby out. And I did and after it was all over I really appreciated her for making me carry through with my birthing plan! Because now it's all said and done I really enjoyed my experience and wouldn't have wanted it any other way! So thank you again Lydia for making my dream come true??
