After struggling with infertility and conceiving with IVF, it was critical for me to have the support of a doula as we prepared for labor and delivery. After speaking with Steph over the phone, I knew she would be the calming energy I needed in the room during our birth. Steph was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. She helped us to have important conversations as we created our birth plan, and was always available with support and resources as our due date got closer. We had a long labor and complicated delivery and I think it would have been nearly impossible to get through without the support of Steph. She was incredibly grounding for me and my husband as we navigated a traumatic birth and our baby’s unexpected trip to the NICU (he is fine now!) Meeting with her postpartum and reviewing our experience and birth story was healing for us, as she was able to be a witness and provide some clarity to questions we had. Steph is a delight and we will absolutely have her for baby #2! She is kind, informative, punctual, reliable, and extremely calm in nature. We couldn’t recommend her enough.
