I didn’t have overnight support after my first pregnancy, and after finding out we were going to have twins the second time around, I knew I would need more help. Hiring Rachael was the best decision I could make! She supported me for 6 weeks, 3x/week. Not only is she very responsive, she provides great resources, encouragement, and emotional support as well. After talking with other doulas, what stuck out to me about Rachael was that she asked me more about my postpartum anxiety after my first pregnancy and how I coped. She helped me get some much needed sleep at night, and took care of our girls like they were her own. I always looked forward to the nights that she was coming. She knew I ultimately wanted to be able to tandem breastfeed the twins, and she was supportive throughout the learning process. She found ways for me to get as much sleep as possible. I’m glad to have Rachael as a resource and a friend.
