Review from a grateful husband: I have to admit, I was extremely hesitant to hire a doula at first. I didn’t fully understand what a doula could do that doctors couldn’t. However, my wife insisted, and now I can confidently say that hiring Christina was the best decision we made during our pregnancy.
From the very beginning, Christina took the time to explain the entire birthing process to us, preparing us for what to expect at the hospital. She provided the hands-on care and attention that we found extremely lacking from the medical staff during labor. Her guidance and support made all the difference.
During labor, she was a constant presence both physically and mentally, making us feel comfortable, answering every question we had and kept things moving in the right direction. As first-time parents, we were naturally anxious, but she eliminated our fears and allowed us to be truly present and confident throughout the process.
My initial skepticism has completely vanished. Christina was absolutely essential to our birthing experience, and I can’t imagine going through it without her. We are incredibly thankful for her support and expertise, looking forward to next go around.
