Where to even begin... As a natural planner, I was confident that having a doula during the birthing process was the right choice for us. But Christina, our doula, exceeded all my expectations. From the very beginning, she met with us multiple times, walking us through exactly what we could expect during a hospital birth. Together, we created a simple and well-thought-out birthing plan, which Christina helped us execute flawlessly during pre-labor, labor, and post-labor.
I had always wanted a natural birth without any interventions, and despite all my mindful preparation, when it came down to gametime I truly believe it wouldn’t have been possible without Christina. She made me feel fully empowered, safe, and confident every step of the way. When labor picked up around midnight, she came to our house and was completely hands-on, providing body work and continuous support until our baby arrived around 7 AM. She was there for every moment, making sure I felt heard, seen and safe. She even guided my husband throughout the birthing process which made it truly feel like a team effort as we welcomed our son earthside.
Christina's presence was invaluable, especially as a first-time mom and made the birth of our dreams possible where zero regrets took place. I am incredibly thankful for her support and dedication, and I can't imagine future births without her by our side. If she will take us, Christina will be an essential part of all our future births.
