After an unplanned c-section with my first baby, I knew I wanted a VBAC the second time around. At the top of my to-do list were find a new provider and hire a doula. As soon as I finished reading Rebekkah’s website, I was certain she would be a good fit for me and subsequent meetings confirmed that. Normally I am reserved with people I don’t know well, but when I met Rebekkah in person for the first time it seemed so natural to give her a hug - like getting together with an old friend!
During labor Rebekkah provided just the type and level of support my husband and I wanted. She made the hospital room feel peaceful and relaxed and kept me moving when I just wanted to sit still. I had a much shorter labor than I did with my first birth and got my VBAC! Aside from getting the result we wanted, we were consistently impressed with Rebekkah’s professionalism and how client-centered her support is. She completely respected our desires, preferences, beliefs, etc. and we never felt like anything was pushed on us. If I have anymore pregnancies, Rebekkah will be one of my first phone calls, and I’ll be recommending her to all of my friends too!
