We were originally on the fence about hiring a doula, but ultimately decided to do it after seeing the positive stats associated with births with a doula and when my husband decided that he could use the support during labor and delivery. It felt like a huge weight was lifted off our shoulders knowing we had a the guidance and support of a doula so we could just focus on getting ready to become parents. We instantly clicked with Jessica and having her as part of our team was the best decision we made. We both felt so well equipped with information and endless support and guidance leading up to our birth, during birth, and after because of Jessica. I felt like I was able to prepare my mind and body so well, which ultimately lead to a very empowering birth experience.
