Michaela helped us with our newborn care from roughly 2 weeks-2 months. I was so impressed with her knowledge and thankful for her caring and non-judgemental nature. She will forever be an important part of our baby's newborn experience.
During our time together Michaela helped me care for the baby from diapers to feedings and getting him to sleep, getting the house completely in order while I was recovering from my c-section, cooked me the most amazing c-section recovery soup, and helped me through some of my more emotional moments of newborn exhaustion. But the most important thing was the knowledge she gave us, including things like how to give him his first bath (we did it all together), and when to change diaper sizes, how to best soothe him to sleep, breastfeeding and pumping knowledge and tips (!!!!), and learning how to baby-wear (she even brought over different carrier types for us to try out before buying).
I would highly recommend Michaela to anyone looking for a postpartum doula.
