I interviewed several doulas, but Terri immediately radiated the warmth, understanding, and connection that I knew I needed after the trauma of my first birthing experience. I knew immediately that I could trust her. When I experienced complications with my pregnancy, I turned to Terri for level-headed advice and she was absolutely right. When my second labor didn't go exactly like I wanted, Terri was there every step of the way to support my decision-making, share my frustration, and dry my tears. She remembered all of my concerns and preferences and helped me turn disappointment into resolve. She was the absolute best cheerleader for me during labor, anticipating my needs and advocating for me with the hospital staff.
