mia joined my pp support team when my daughter was about eight weeks old. she was a godsend. mia's quiet, confident, soothing nature made me and my baby feel a sense of relief at a time when we (i) needed it very much. my daughter was instantly comfortable with mia, who at that point was the only other caregiver she had met besides my husband and me. moreover, mia reassured me anytime i came to her with questions or doubts about how i was handling breastfeeding, napping, etc. my daughter rarely ever cried when she was in mia's care (it seemed like she creid even less with mia than she did when she was with me!) -- mia is a natural at caring for babies (and new mamas)! mia was with us for a few hours per week until my baby was six months old. during her visits, mia would help my daughter nap (sometimes the only good nap she would take that day would be with mia), play and listen to music with her, and offer to help out with whatever i needed so i could take a mental and physical break to recharge my batteries. i couldn't recommend mia more to any family who needs a reliable extra set of hands, caregiving and lactation advice, and emotional support. mia is the best!
