I heard myself telling a friend, “I think my life is literally about a billion times better because Justine exists,” and was like ok fine I should write a review.
It’s hard to articulate what happens in the minutes and hours when your brain (and vocab center) are the most off-line of an entire life - yet that is exactly when Justine works her magic. Justine lives and breathes women giving birth. She knows what to do. Even when it’s the middle of the night and you’re both asleep. Even - especially - when everything has shut down, aside from - whatever it is that that birth is. (I still don’t know, and yet I totally trust Justine - she says things, I don’t remember what things, I just focused on trying to focus on that, and babies were born.)
I had some baggage - let’s go there - Justine - like - got it. I swear she did in an hour what therapists have been trying to crack for my lifetime. She understood - me - we got there.
Justine was the first person I hired when I found out there would be a second kid, and would be again for a third.
I’ll say too - even if you have reason to believe your births will be easy (?), it is still absolutely worth it for the lactation support. My first kid was born during covid, and - I’d send Justine photos - of my boobs, and baby’s latch, and she’d send back what to do. It was like - how can you tell? - ok whatever, it works, it works again -
Justine will break conflicts between me and my partner - I don’t think even Justine knows this, but my partner and I have both agreed to do whatever Justine says, regardless of how much we disagree with each other. We call, ask, and do that. It says something that we’re still living by this philosophy, this far into the journey…
Anyways. Would recommend.
