Diane was an absolute lifesaver for our family. We have a 3 year old and when it came time to have our second, we knew we wanted to have help at night so that we could be more alert for our toddler during the day. Although I am a second time mom, the second time around was a completely different experience from our first born. Diane helped me overcome my second guessing. With her experiences, she could really speak to what most babies are able to do by the age/weight that he was at the time and slowly but surely by the time she left- he was sleeping through the night. She was with us overnight for 3.5 months.
She is always prompt and takes fantastic notes at night so you know exactly what happened over night. Additionally, as she had capacity, she made herself available to us earlier than contracted as I gave birth 3 weeks early. I also briefly ended up back in the hospital a week later and she checked up on me during that time, which I appreciated very much. Through her network, she was also invaluable in helping us find a day nanny for when it came time for me to go back to work as there was a long waitlist at our daycare for the infant room.
Diane is nurturing, warm and you can tell she truly loves her job and loves to take care of babies and they love her right back. She was also a great sounding board for me whenever I needed.
We went with Diane over other agencies in the area because her approach to overnight care aligned more closely with ours. Any family would be lucky to have her and she will truly be missed in our house!
