We started looking for a doula when we found out we were pregnant with our first child. Jenn came recommended by another doula who wasn’t available, and from our first meeting with Jenn we felt comfortable and at ease. She was organized, reliable, and empathetic throughout our pregnancy.
When I started laboring at home, Jenn was available via phone for advice and support, and met us at the hospital when the time came to bring our son into the world. At the hospital she was indispensable, supporting us with communicating our birth plan to the care team, helping me with coping strategies, and making me laugh when I needed the levity. After four hours of labor, our son was born, and Jenn took some incredible photos of our new family of three. She stayed long enough to make sure we were comfortable, and checked in through the coming days and months via text to address any questions we had and offer support. I highly recommend working with Jenn!
