Lauran is both very professional, while also being incredibly friendly and warm. During the birth of my son, she made me feel safe, cared for, & at ease. She provided physical hands-on support, brought comfort tools and soothing items, and was overall a huge help in making my labor as smooth as possible. She wasn’t simply supporting me, she also supported my husband as well and made the whole process easier for both of us. Additionally, she captured photographs for us before, during & after the birth which we cherish.
She is a kind, genuine person and my husband & I were immediately comfortable with her. She felt like a friend we had known for years. She also answered our questions, provided us with information & resources, and was a great source of support. She allowed us to make our own decisions and wasn’t judgemental.
We had multiple appointments with Lauran prior to the birth, which helped my husband and I better prepare. Lauran also came to our home during labor to help support us before we all went to the birth center. She was with us for several hours after the birth as well, continuing to provide support. In the weeks following the birth of our son, Lauran dropped off a lovely care package full of goodies, and then had one final appointment with my husband & I.
We highly recommend Lauran and would hire her again.
