Clarice was incredible to have after the birth of our first son. She spent time with us before to understand what our goals were, as well as understand our family and those dynamics. She was extremely educational valuable with all of the resources she would share in regards to routines, breast-feeding, and learning how to understand our sons cues. She was always extremely calming, patient with our dog, and made sure to ask and listen to how my feelings were each day. I highly recommend using Clarice as a postpartum doula. She was extremely flexible and understanding as well with our schedule, and she really helped me and helped me gain confidence and what I was doing and caring for our son. I had never been around newborns, or baby sat before, She really helped me navigate this postpartum phase and transition into motherhood. Clarice was very thoughtful, intentional, and allowed me some time to myself during the long days after my son was born to go for a walk, shower, or attempt to nap, all while always lending a hand around the house when she was able. It was a great experience overall.
