I made the decision very late in my pregnancy to hire a Doula so that both I and my sister (who was my birth partner) would have extra support. I interviewed a couple that were not a great fit, then my midwife introduced me to Erin, knowing that she would be perfect. And she was. The moment we met I knew no matter what happened in my delivery I, my baby and my sister would all be well supported. She took extra time to get to know us, our communication styles and our needs, not just the birth plan.
Absolutely nothing went as planned in the 5-day long induction and delivery, and there was never a moment that Erin wavered in her care for me, in her advocacy or in her support. We would not have made it through as well as we did without her, and not just the delivery, but in the tough days and weeks of recovery that followed. I recommend Erin with all of my heart and soul to any mom.
