We had the most wonderful experience with Brighid for birth and postpartum of our second baby. I knew I wanted a low/no intervention hospital birth and she supported me in that journey from the start. She was thoughtful and kind and really listened to my story of my first birth experience and remembered the details throughout our time together. We immediately felt comfortable and at ease with her from the first meeting, and it was great getting to know her more throughout my pregnancy. During labor, she was such a solid, grounding force for me - I knew she would listen to me and help if there was something I needed, and also encourage me to trust myself and my strength, which she 100% did. I was so happy with how this birth went - it was so different from my first birth experience and was truly healing for me. I honestly don't know if it would have gone as well as it did without her there on my side. During the early postpartum days I always looked forward to my sessions with Brighid. She took great care of all of us, made us delicious food, let us take restorative naps, assisted with my healing and care, and was just a lovely presence at our house during that time. Our toddler and both of our moms were also obsessed with her! :)
We highly recommend working with Brighid if you have the chance! She's just the best.
