We loved our time with Barbie and having her as our doula. Our prenatal sessions were so helpful (and fun!) for us to learn and ask questions as first time parents, and Barbie provided us with the perfect prompts to move us through the decision-making and planning ahead of our baby's birth. We really valued her insights, especially as it got closer to game time and we had some unexpected twists and turns to navigate. Barbie is encouraging without being directive, and always walked us through the options with both evidence and experience to support. Our baby's actual birth went much differently from our birth plan, and it was incredible to have Barbie with us to guide us through as someone who knows us, and knows the birth process and hospital context. We are so happy to have worked with Barbie and cannot recommend her enough. We had a really wonderful, celebratory birth experience, and we are so grateful for her presence in the room that day.
