Jen was such a fantastic support for us as our birth doula. Our meetings leading up to our son's birth were informative and her style really complemented the hypnobirthing class I was taking at the time. She was a crucial support for both my husband and myself on the day of our son's birth. When Jen was in the birthing room she made me feel safe, understood and supported. She was so intuitive to my needs during labor and she was a fantastic advocate for me with nurses and hospital staff. Our labor was very long and came with a few curve balls, and Jen was always careful to make sure I was truly comfortable with every decision I made, especially when things went off course from our birth plan. I will be forever grateful for all of the photos she took as our son was being born; because of her, the most important moment of our life was well documented while allowing us to be fully in the moment with our newborn son. Postpartum, she was a wealth of knowledge and I'm so grateful for her guidance, especially since this was our first child. The tips and tricks she taught us truly saved us during those early weeks. We don't know what we would've done without her!
